One of my most favorite places to be (besides sleeping in my bed) is my kitchen.

I’ve attempted to create art  using just about every medium:
pencils, pastels, watercolor, acrylic, and oil, and
even tried my hand at sculpture.

My creative ability in each of those fields has hovered between

“It looks okay to me. Art is subjective...”
to
“I have no idea what this is supposed to be.”

However, place me in a room equipped with a stove, oven and microwave and I become the Mary  Cassat of the culinary world.

​Now, not all  my gastronomic plates have been successes, but I have to believe that even old Mary C started out with stick figures before she became the famous American painter.
