WHY DID I WRITE "TRAVELS WITH  RUDOLPH?"
Picture
Here is a sample of  the soon to be printed   and   published  version  the travelogue I wrote while driving cross-country solo. They tell the story of my journey, from leaving an old life and all that I'd known for 58 years to go to a place where I only knew five people:
my son, my daughter-in-law, my two grandsons,   and a lady  I sat with at the boys' Pop Warner football games.

I had no idea what this ride would be like, and the fact that it was such an amazing adventure for me prompted me to record it   day-by-day...and the only company I had for the whole trip was this guy: Rudolph, the  Christmas Decoration.

Although he was not a gifted   conversationalist,  he did always have a  smile (albeit glued on his face) and he actually did use his red   nose a couple of times  to light my way...or at least inside the car when I lost something under the seat.

If you  like what you read,  you can order it   on Amazon. I think it's very  affordable...well, okay it is cheap...You can pre-order it here for distribution on December 15th, so click on this link:

You can read it on any device you have.
BUT ... keep in mind it is   NOT   a Christmas Story,  but instead it is the tale of someone who started over when middle age, and made a life choice that turned out to  be a happy one.
